現在パリでは相変わらず外出制限があり、観客を入れての舞台公演ができない状況となっています。
そんな中でも、1月27日にパリ・オペラ座ではガラ公演が無観客で収録され、現在配信中です。本来は30日土曜日からの配信の予定ですが、なぜかフライングで開始されました。オペラ座の配信プラットフォームchezsoiを活用しての配信ですが、今回はシャネルとロレックスというスポンサーの好意で、無料で誰でも見ることができます。

演目はデフィレ、「グラン・パ・クラシック」「イン・ザ・ナイト」「精密の不安定なスリル」です。全員がマスクを着用して無観客、拍手がない中でのデフィレはオペラ座の歴史の中でも前代未聞です。このような状況においても、公演を行って無料配信するというところに、パリ・オペラ座の矜持を感じ、心打たれます。パフォーマンスのクオリティも極めて高いものです。
なお、「グラン・パ・クラシック」の衣装はシャネルが今回のために特別にデザイン、製作したものです。

事態が早く収録し、無事に観客を入れての公演ができることを祈るばかりです。昨年3月の来日公演からまだ11か月しか経っていないのが驚きです。あれからすっかり世界は変わってしまいました。
